For the second year I’m a Programme Advisor on Features for Margate Film Festival 2025 26-30 Nov. The features programme celebrates local talent, UK cinema & global groundbreaking stories.
I’m excited to talk to BAFTA winning & Academy Award nominated actor Brenda Blethyn after the phenomenal, genre defying, eerie and unpredictable DRAGONFLY (UK, 2025) screening on 30 Nov. I campaigned for the inclusion of the film in the festival, persuaded the film’s distributor Icon to allow a screening during the film’s theatrical run and pleaded with its in demand co-lead’s agent for her to attend our Q&A.

I was invited to be a Programme Advisor to Margate Film Festival 28 Nov - 1 Dec and loved moderating the Opening night film ‘Chuck Chuck Baby’ (UK, 2023) Q&A with BAFTA winning duo writer & director Janis Pugh and producer Anne Beresford.
I read Feature & TV scripts for the second year running for Female Voices Rock Film Festival NYC 2024 and also Atlanta Film Festival 2025.
PUMPKIN GOULASH Halloween TV Special script is selected for Berlin International Screenwriting Festival Spring 2024, Chicago Script Awards - Summer 2024, Austin Spotlight Film Festival and nominated for Best Short Script at Tokyo Horror Film Festival 2024. The script advanced to Finalist in the Cambridge Script Festival Winter 23/24, Semi-finalist in the Atlanta Film Festival Screenplay Competition & Zed Fest Film Festival, LA and Quarter-finalist in the San Francisco Independent Film Festival Screenplay Competition 2024.
